It’s All in the Name

Prairie Spring Health is more than just a name—it’s a reflection of where we’re rooted and what we believe. When it came time to choose a name, the founder wanted something that captured the meaning, warmth, and spirit of rural Nebraska practice.

She turned to ChatGPT to explore options, entering her vision for the practice—the people she hoped to serve, the care she would offer, and the team she dreamed of building. Dozens of names appeared, but none quite fit. Then, two simple words emerged from separate ideas and came together perfectly: Prairie Spring.

The prairie symbolizes resilience, openness, and deep connection to the land and community. This in itself is the essence of Nebraskans. Spring represents renewal, growth, and healing.

Together, they express our mission: to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that helps individuals heal, grow, and thrive—right where they are.
